American curriculum is offered from KG to grade 12. Upon completion of grade 12 students receive a high school certificate it they accomplish the required numbers of credits.

The Language of instruction is English. All students must study English, math, science, and social studies with additional requirements in foreign language, computer, and physical education          

Each school year consists of two semesters; each semester is divided into 2 quarters. The course given throughout the whole year is considered l credit, if it is given in one semester only it gets  1/2 credit. Students of the American Division have two options available to them at the end of grade12 after passing SAT examinations; either entering the Egyptian universities or allow them     to enter other universities around the world.

The pioneers American Division offers an advanced level curriculum from kindergarten
to grade twelve designed to prepare students for university studies. The curriculum combines core subjects – math, English, science, social studies, and physical education, art. music, computers, Arabic and Religious Studies. Another measure which has been taken to encourage students to broaden their minds and outlooks in an international setting is the requirement of students to study a third language. French. from grade 2 to grade 12.

The approach is student-centered, using an inquiry or investigative approach rather than uncritical reliance on traditional knowledge, and encourages discussion and research rather than rote learning and lectures. Critical thinking skills are taught throughout the curriculum. Research and   student projects are integral to our curriculum and weekly lesson plans. Debate and discussion are keys to this process. 

Pioneers American Division continually modernizes and improves its curriculum. The academic portion of the curriculum, however, is of little value unless it is supported by a supplementary framework. In other words, American teaching methods, various teaming styles, and hands-on active learning process are employed. In addition, the school paid close attention to familiarizing students with the American techniques of active learning including the use of computers and  technology.
