The mission of the school is: “Preparing students for successful careers through the development of their minds, characters, and physical well being”. At Pioneers, we believe that our mission can be more meaningful if we bring it into the classroom and give it vision. Teachers can empower all students to become lifelong learners by connecting school activities and class work to real - world experiences and extending learning beyond the classroom .
Our mission is to prepare students for further education and successful careers and implement fundamental skills and powers in reasoning at higher levels. We place our efforts to help students achieve greater academic & personal success in the ever-expanding global community of the future.
The school and teachers are very concerned with keeping the morals & ethics among the students. There are penalties for breaking the rules of the school. The strong leadership from the Superintendent, Head of the American Division, and the teachers are crucial for successful implementation of proper behavior.
The school's strategy is to provide smaller learning areas that give students better academic and social support. The maximum class size at Pioneers ranges between 20 & 25 students. This social strategy creates a more familiar atmosphere, and positively affects academic outcomes, such as grades test scores and performance. The potential effects of smaller learning environment on students are as follows: First, the teacher's knowledge of the students' individual learning styles will increase and enables the teachers to monitor students' academic progress. Second, the creation of a family - like atmosphere in which teachers and students can communicate better. Teachers in such an environment are able to implement new teaching approaches. |
